About this piece
The Bottoms Limited Edition Men’s Slides are queer-owned NYC apparel for the gay men whose summer footwear strategy is, in fact, no footwear strategy at all. Slip on, walk out, deal with whatever the day looks like once you’ve already left the apartment. We made these for the boys who treat the trip from the front door to the bodega like a fashion moment but want to keep it under three minutes of effort. Cushioned, lightweight, and broken in from the moment they arrive.
The footbed is a cushioned EVA molded for arch support that doesn’t punish your feet on a long Brooklyn block walk. The strap is wide, padded, and adjusts cleanly across foot widths — no awkward gap, no top-of-foot slap. The outsole is grippy enough for damp post-shower bathroom tile, NYC summer downpours, the dock at Fire Island, and the deck at the public pool. The print sits along the strap so it reads when you sit down at brunch and slowly cross your legs to make a point. True men’s sizing — order your normal slide size; check the size guide if you’re between, because the strap runs slightly narrower than a Birkenstock.
Wear these slides to the gym you joined for social reasons. Wear them on the F train when you’ve decided to fully commit to the Sunday-no-effort look. Wear them on the rooftop, on the dock, in the kitchen, at the bagel shop, on the Cherry Grove boardwalk. Wear them with cargo shorts that started life on someone else. The Bottoms Limited Edition Slides are for the boys whose summer is a slow blur of pools, rooftops, and shamelessly comfortable footwear.
Bottom Line Apparel is queer-owned, NYC-based, and runs Limited Edition drops from a certified Printful facility — print-on-demand, no warehouse, no waste. When this run sells through, it’s done. Add them to your cart, slide into summer, and accept that you’re not putting on real shoes today.
